EMBRACING THE STILLNESS OF WINTER AN ĀYURVEDA & YOGA WORKSHOP – With Namo Dev
As the winter months approach we notice nature around us is beginning to withdraw and slow down. The trees are stripped bare and the animals begin preparing for and embracing the winter hibernation ahead. There is a sense of stillness in the environment, inviting us to go inward and slow right down. Winter is the season for rest, reflection and nourishment. It is a time to replenish the fast paced and social nature of summer and the windy disturbance of autumn. If we adhere to the right seasonal routine, make an effort to embrace a slower and more relaxed pace, we allow
winter to open our heart and invigorate our body. An Āyurvedic lifestyle allows you to transition smoothly.
Sunday 16th June
During this workshop, you will learn how to develop a daily routine specific for the winter season using the wisdom of Āyurveda and Yoga. This routine, comprising of daily practices and nutritional guidelines, will ensure that you remain nourished and invigorated throughout winter, have a deep restful sleep to replenish and restore, develop an open heartedness and sharp sense of purpose and take advantage of the peaceful stillness that this season naturally encourages.
