The Art of Self Care

Any time is a good time for self care. As we move into the new year; for many of us this can be one of the goals or intentions we wish to implement more of in our lives. Often we think of self care as doing less and resting (which is SO needed) but how do we implement it in those times when we are active and have things to do? How do we bring self care in our ability to make decisions?
Within this intensive we will be given the opportunity to explore ways we can integrate self care in our approach to our yoga practice as well as in our daily lives. Expect some reflection on yogic philosophy; visiting yoga as it’s roots, asana (physical practice), pranayama (breath work) and meditaion.
