Transformation; Clear Vision & Embracing Change Workshop with Erika Newberry

“End the year and start the new one with conscious connection to yourself and others.”

Change is inevitable. Whether this is welcomed or if it’s unexpected, it can be an opportunity for growth and transformation. After a challenging couple of years, many of us are left with a mix of emotions as we transition from isolation to slowly connecting with others in real life. On top of this we are also entering into the ‘silly season’, a time that can be both exciting and joyful, but perhaps also confronting and unsettling. This workshop offers us some yogic tools to support us at such times.

In this workshop, we will carve out time to reflect on how we meet the changes in our life. Through gentle movement, breath work, mantra, meditation and visulisation, we can observe our own internal changes, what our patterns and our tendencies are in relation to change, and to also build self-awareness, self-acceptance as well as our sense of personal agency.

We will have the opportunity to delve into some yogic philosophy, to explore how this plays out in our own practice and lives, and to move towards gentle but powerful and sustainable change.  Expect some physical yoga practice as well as private reflection/journaling, group discussion and ritual.

Through this combination of yoga practices and approaches, this workshop is designed to not only assist participants in revealing their deepest values; and will support them in designing how these can be brought to life in a practical and meaningful way; but to also support them through the changes that life presents.

Note: You are always welcome to engage with the session as much or as little as you choose and you’re always welcome to do what you need to do in the moment to create more safety for yourself.
