Each and every one of us is unique! As we transition into Spring we are invited to open up to new opportunities and to connect with our own individual path. This workshop is designed to give expression to this through creative sound and movement.
Together we take a journey through a vocal meditation practice where we learn to listen deeply to our true nature and give voice to our breath. This practice allows us to let go of ideas, expectations and preconceptions about sound and to step into the uniqueness of our own voice.
Following on from our vocal meditation we will move into a deep release through the body through yin yoga. This practice involves long holds within earthbound postures/shapes where we target connective tissue through compression and traction. As we settle into our yoga practice we can enjoy the nurturing sounds of live acoustic guitar and are invited to continue a deeper release through voice. No prior singing experience required.
