SUMMARY:Trauma Recovery Program with Billie Atherstone
DESCRIPTION:Finding ease & calm for the trauma-affected nervous system\nTrauma Recovery Program\n\nA 14 week Trauma-informed Yoga Program to support you to process & resolve trauma symptoms \nwith Billie Atherstone\n\nThis course is an evidence based course for people who would like to heal the traumatised nervous system. Billie is teaching me to feel and stay present with my body rather than trying to escape. It can be challenging but I felt very held and supported all the way through. The course moves very slowly and the practices build gradually\, giving time to create a deep sense of safety and trust in the experience. It has a very gentle and nurturing feel throughout\, even with the more challenging practices. Billie is very present and attuned to us all\, she observes us while holding space for us and still gives individual guidance while being in the group. It feels like she knows what we all need. I will definitely be doing this course again and highly recommend it to anyone who has experienced any form of trauma.” KT\n\n\nFacilitator:\nBillie Atherstone is a IAYT Yoga Therapist and has been teaching trauma informed courses for PTSD for the past ten years.
