We experience pain and loss\, and other people’s expectations of us\, and we come up with adaptive strategies that close us off to the expansive power of our hearts\, and ultimately from the paths our souls set out for us. \nIn order to reconnect with that inner compass\, with the gold buried deep in our hearts that we are here to share with the world\, we have to let go of fixed ideas and grow our compassion for ourselves and others. \nThe heart-opening techniques of Kundalini Yoga can be a wonderful and accessible place to start.
