This nourishing 3-hour workshop offers an opportunity to slow down\, restore balance\, and explore practical approaches to supporting nervous system health. \nDrawing from Yin Yoga\, Polyvagal Theory\, somatic practices\, and relaxation techniques\, this workshop combines education with embodied experience to help participants better understand how the nervous system influences mood\, behaviour\, stress responses\, and overall wellbeing. \nTogether\, we will explore gentle vagal toning practices designed to support activation of the parasympathetic nervous system\, often referred to as the “rest and digest” response. SUMMARY:Gong Puja: Sound Journey: Echoes of the Earth
DESCRIPTION:GONG PUJA\nGong Puja Sound Journey: Echoes of the Earth\nWith \nCathy Loughrey\, Saskia Cleary\, Virginia Alexandra\, Praveen Hewage and Geoff Charles \nSaturday 17 October 2026 \n1:30pm – 5:45pm \nBOOK HERE  \nGong Puja is a profound sacred ceremony which promotes deep rest\, healing and transformation. It brings us back to the remembrance of our original state – the oneness of creation. \nDuring this Gong Puja Sound Journey we will align ourselves with the cosmos with a four hour Puja celebration in which the gongs are played continuously for 3 ½ hours. The word Puja means to honour\, it is the act of showing reverence and recognising the seed of GOD which resides within. \nThe GONG is the sacred universal sound. With each strike a newness comes into being. In the cosmic resonance our nervous system and aura may become vibrant and strong\, and a deep state of relaxation\, calmness and inner stillness can be experienced. \nThe individual’s journey may differ as the immersion in the sound works on healing aspects in each of us. A meditative state\, or deep sleep or a dream state may occur reasonably quickly. For some the experience of a deeper state through submerging into the cosmic sounds of the gongs may occur slowly. Whatever is encountered is perfect so trust the process. \nVibrate the cosmos and the cosmos will open the door and show the way! Clear\, relax and hear the whisper of the infinite and allow transformation. \nEvent details for Gong Puja.\nWe are delighted to welcome you to Gong Puja\, a sacred ceremony with gongs taking place at Kundalini House. \nThis is an all afternoon event on Saturday 17 October 2026 from 1:30pm to 5:45pm. \nPlease be advised that attendance is only possible for the full event. \nYour hosts for this event will be Cathy Loughrey\, Saskia Cleary\, Virginia Alexandra\, Praveen Hewage and Geoff Charles\, with the event organiser Kundalini House. \nPlease arrive in plenty of time to complete your registration and set-up your mat. The door will be closed at 1:30pm.  Gong Puja will commence at 1:30pm and conclude at 5:45pm. \nWe are planning a special event with an afternoon of magic where you can rest\, relax and meditate immersed in the sound of the gongs. The combination of Earth Gongs will take you on a journey from the deep rumbles of Sound Creation to the heart and up to the ethers partnered with the crystalline frequency from the titanium gong.  It is a magical combination of the Sound Creation Earth Gong\, Earth and Platonic Year Gongs which we are excited to be able to bring together. \nOur Gong Puja will commence with the ceremonial conch as we call in the six directions before moving into 3 ½ hours of gong immersion where you can rest\, relax\, and meditate in the sound current. The last strike of the gong will be followed by a short period of silence. \nGong Puja is an individual experience\, and as with a Gong Sound Bath Immersion\, the experience of each person in the room maybe quite different. Trust your experience is perfect for you. \nInvestment\nFull $125 and conc/KH-members $100 \nBOOK HERE \nInformation for participants:\nYou will be asked to fill in a registration form for this event. You must ensure the hosts are aware of any medical conditions or limitations before this event.  Please check information below. \nDuring Gong Puja silence is observed.  Mobile phones must be off or silenced. This includes no use of phones for social media viewing and no use of mobile phones for photography. \nThere will be no formal break during the Gong Puja. You are welcome to exit the room anytime for toilet breaks or to the kitchen where herbal tea will be available. Drinks and food maybe taken in the kitchen or reception. We ask that you make as little noise as possible exiting and returning to the room. \nShould you feel you need to leave the room for an extended period you may use the kitchen area or reception. \nWe ask you not to depart the building unless absolutely necessary. Should this be necessary please notify one of the hosts of your departure. \nWear comfortable clothes. \nKundalini House have mats\, bolsters and blankets available for your use. You may use this mat or replace with your mat or place your mat over the top. \nWe suggest you bring all that you will need to be comfortable and is the size of a yoga mat (no wider or longer please). This may include: \n\nyoga mat(s)\nBlanket(s) – to cover over and you may like one on your mat for extra padding. Extra blankets may help with staying warm and layers will ensure you can lighten your cover should you require.\nPillows/ bolster for head and knee supports. Extra pillows may help with your comfort.\nEye cover\nYou can bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noises in the room\, specifically snoring as this is likely to occur. The ear plugs will not prevent you receiving the benefits of the sound bath.\nLighting in the room will be dim. As this is an afternoon event we will have day light hours of sun through the windows. Window blinds maybe closed.\nWater bottle\n\nWe request you do not wear perfume\, after shave or scent as many people are sensitive to these. If you are a smoker then please ensure there is no lingering smell of this in your clothing\, mats and blankets.  People can be sensitive and some of the hosts are sensitive to these smells and prefer to not be suffering allergic reactions. \nAfter Gong Puja:\nWhilst there are no specific requirements\, we do recommend you allow yourself time to integrate\, relax and rejoice in your experience. \nReturn home safely. Take care if you are driving. Drink plenty of water. \nThe vibration from the gongs will probably remain with you for a period after Gong Puja. However\, prescription medication must be maintained. \nIf you have any medical conditions requiring special arrangements\, then this should be brought with you. You may discuss this with Kundalini House in order that we are able to accommodate your needs. If you require any medication such as EpiPen for allergic reactions\, asthma relieving inhaler\, diabetics medication or medication for seizure then you should bring this with you. \nIf you have any recent significant physical injuries\, surgery or emotional trauma then you may like to consider whether this extended time spent lying on the floor in a group will be comfortable for you and that you will be able to move easily in and out of the room as you may need. \nYou will be asked to fill in a registration form for this event. You must ensure your hosts are aware of any medical conditions or limitations before this event.  During the Gong Puja it is possible to feel different emotions and physical sensations. It is an individual experience and the experience of each person in the room maybe quite different. We ask that you trust your experience is right for you.  Your registration form will be sent to you with your “Welcome to Gong Puja” e-mail prior to the event or you may contact Kundalini House if you would like this sent earlier. \nThe concept of Gong Puja was created by Don Conreaux and is taught as part of Gong Master training.  Many Gong Pujas have run across the world\, generally as an overnight 7.5 hour gong sound immersion the length of gong puja can be varied.
