SUMMARY:The Collective Exhale Vol II A Spinal Energetics & Tea Experience for ADHD Nervous Systems
DESCRIPTION:The Collective Exhale Vol II\nA Spinal Energetics & Tea Experience for ADHD Nervous Systems\nFacilitators: Amanda Huynh & Joelina\nDate: Sunday 13th Dec\nTime: 11am – 2pm\nLocation: Kundalini House\, Fitzroy North \nBOOK HERE  \nEvent Description\nHoliday season is almost here. And as much as there’s genuine joy in it\, there’s also the work party small talk\, the hours under shopping centre lights\, and the back-to-back days of running between people and places. \nThe Collective Exhale is your refuge before the holiday season peaks. It’s a 2-hour Spinal Energetics and Tea experience\, built for ADHD nervous systems and for the specific kind of tired that comes with December. The aim is to move the tension you’ve been silently carrying\, so you can stop bracing through the festive season and actually be present with the people you love. \nYour only job on the day is to lie face up and receive. Amanda\, Joelina and the music will move around the room\, working directly with your nervous system and energy field. No talking it through. No analysing. Just feeling\, processing and letting go. \nAfterwards\, stay for tea. There’s time to integrate\, connect with the community\, or sit with your journal. \nYou don’t need to have ADHD to come. If the description sounds like you\, you’re welcome. You also don’t need any previous experience with Spinal Energetics or somatic work. \nSpaces are limited to 12. \nBooking Links\n– Sun 13th Dec: Book Now \nWhat is Spinal Energetics?\nSpinal Energetics is a gentle\, nervous system-based therapy that supports physical\, mental\, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. It works with your spine and your body’s own innate intelligence to regulate and restore balance. \nStress\, tension and emotional experiences don’t just stay in your head. Over time\, your body can hold them as patterns of bracing or protection. Founded by Dr Sarah Jane Perri (Chiropractor)\, Spinal Energetics draws on both Eastern and Western traditions to work with the spine\, the nervous system and the subtle patterns that shape how you feel. \nIt works bottom-up\, communicating directly with your nervous system without asking you to understand\, analyse or have an insight. During a session\, you might notice changes in your breathing\, shifts in posture or gentle\, spontaneous movement. Nobody directs these. They happen as your nervous system settles and reorganises. \nThere’s no forcing and nothing to fix. For people who’ve spent a lifetime in their heads\, this is often the first time something has felt like it’s actually happening rather than being discussed. \nThis is for you if:\n\n\n\n\nYou’re self-aware but still can’t seem to change your habits \n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou’ve tried therapy\, coaching or self-help and hit a ceiling \n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou’re exhausted by people pleasing\, over-explaining or shrinking yourself \n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou want to feel your needs clearly enough to communicate them \n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou’re ready to stop living in your head and start trusting your body \n\n\n\n\nAbout the Facilitators\nAmanda Huynh\nDietitian & Spinal Energetics Practitioner \nAmanda helps ADHDers\, especially people of colour\, dance to the beat of their own drum and make the impact they were born to make. She does this by supporting them to expand their nervous system capacity to hold it all through holistic nutrition\, health coaching and Spinal Energetics. \nDr Joelina Jowett\nOsteopath & Spinal Energetics Practitioner \nWith 20 years of experience as an osteopath\, Joelina brings a holistic approach to health and wellbeing\, recognising the connection between the physical and non-physical contributors to pain\, tension and imbalance. Through her work in Osteopathy and Spinal Energetics\, she is passionate about supporting people to reconnect with themselves and find greater alignment in body and mind. \nPlease Read Before Booking\nSpinal Energetics is powerful and isn’t suitable for everyone. It’s not suitable during the first trimester of pregnancy or the first 3–6 months postpartum\, for children under 12\, or for people with certain medical or mental health conditions (including epilepsy\, cardiovascular conditions\, osteoporosis and recent trauma). Please read the full list of contraindications before booking: thedivingdietitian.com/spinalenergetics \nIf any apply to you\, DM @heyitsamanda.x or email amanda@thedivingdietitian.com before purchasing a ticket \nWhat To Bring\n\n\n\n\nwater bottle \n\n\n\n\n\n\njournal (optional\, for tea time) \n\n\n\n\nArrival Information\nPlease arrive at least 15 minutes early to settle in. \nStreet parking is available on Clauscen Street and St Georges Road. \nInvestment\n\n\n\n\nEarly bird: $77 \n\n\n\n\n\n\nGeneral: $88 \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFirst Nations: $44 \n\n\n\n\nFrequently Asked Questions\nDo I need to have ADHD to come?\nNo\, and you don’t need a diagnosis. Self-identified\, waiting on assessment\, or just curious are all welcome. The session is shaped around ADHD nervous systems (no pressure to perform\, no sitting still\, no having to “do it right”)\, but anyone who wants to be supported is welcome. \nI’ve never tried Spinal Energetics or anything somatic. Is that okay?\nYes\, Spinal Energetics is a great entry point to somatic work. There’s nothing you have to do but show up\, be present and receive. \nWhat should I expect?\nYou lie face up\, fully clothed\, and receive. Two practitioners move around the room working with your nervous system and energy field\, while live music plays. You may move\, stretch\, cry\, laugh or just feel very relaxed. All responses are welcome and are signs your nervous system is unwinding. Afterwards there’s tea and time to land before you go back out into the world. \nIs there physical touch?\nThere is light touch to access the spine and energy centres of the body\, however if you prefer no touch\, you can indicate with the consent cards provided on the day\, and we will simply access through your energetic field. \nMy brain never switches off. Will this work for me?\nA racing mind is a common sign that the nervous system is in an activated sympathetic state. Spinal Energetics helps to create safety in the nervous system so that it can activate the parasympathetic state to relieve a racing mind. With regular practice\, it will be easier to self-downregulate your nervous system to have a calmer mind. \nIs Spinal Energetics safe for everyone?\nNot for everyone. Please read the contraindications above before booking. If you’re unsure whether any apply to you\, message me first and we’ll work it out together. \nAcknowledgement of Country\nI acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the rightful Custodians of the land on which The Collective Exhale will be held. I pay my respects to elders past and present. Always was\, always will be Aboriginal land.

Alexander Studies. \nSuitable for both beginners and experienced students\, this End of Year Intensive offers time and space to explore how you move\, respond and organise yourself — and to discover greater ease\, coordination and awareness in both everyday life and movement. \nThroughout the intensive\, you will explore the fundamental principles of the Alexander Technique and how habitual patterns of tension\, posture and movement can influence the way we feel and function. \nRather than trying to force the body into a particular position\, the Alexander Technique develops our capacity to notice unnecessary effort and habitual responses\, interrupt patterns that may no longer be helpful\, and discover more ease and freedom in the way we move. \nThe program is primarily practical and experiential\, with theoretical understanding woven naturally through group classes\, individual lessons\, movement\, partner work and guided exploration. \nWhat’s Included\nYour five-day intensive includes: \n• A private 30-minute Alexander Technique lesson with David Moore each day\n• Daily Alexander Technique group classes\n• Smart Yoga and movement sessions applying Alexander Technique principles\n• Specialist sessions exploring areas including eyes and vision and calming the nervous system\n• Practical exercises\, partner work and individual exploration\n• Daily opportunities to apply the principles of the Technique to your own body\, movement and areas of interest \nA private lesson is scheduled for each participant every day. Your individual lesson times will be included in your final timetable\, which will be sent approximately two weeks before the intensive begins. \nAlexander Technique & Yoga\nYoga and movement form an important part of the intensive\, creating an opportunity to apply the principles of the Alexander Technique while the body is in motion. \nRather than focusing simply on flexibility or achieving a particular shape\, these sessions explore balance\, strength\, coordination\, mobility and awareness\, helping you notice how you organise yourself during movement and exercise. \nYou do not need to be an experienced yoga practitioner to participate. Injuries\, physical limitations and different levels of flexibility and capacity can be accommodated so that you can work in a way that is appropriate for your body. \nWho Is This Intensive For?\nThis intensive is suitable for both those who are completely new to the Alexander Technique and those wishing to deepen an existing practice. \nIt may be particularly valuable for: \n• People experiencing musculoskeletal discomfort or wanting to explore habitual patterns of posture and movement\n• Musicians\, singers\, actors\, dancers and performers\n• Sportspeople wanting to refine coordination\, efficiency and ease of movement\n• Yoga\, Pilates\, Tai Chi and other movement teachers\n• Music\, singing and performing arts teachers\n• Medical\, allied health and wellbeing professionals interested in embodied learning and professional development\n• Anyone interested in developing greater body awareness\, coordination and ease\n• Those considering further study or Alexander Technique teacher training \nOptional Voice Classes with Jenny Thirtle\nParticipants can also choose to add two specialist Voice Classes with Jenny Thirtle to the intensive. \nThe voice sessions offer an opportunity to explore how Alexander Technique principles can support breathing\, vocal freedom\, coordination and expression. \nMonday 28 December\n3:30pm–5:30pm \nWednesday 30 December\n3:30pm–5:30pm \nAdditional investment: $50 for both Voice Classes \nChoose the Intensive + Voice option when booking if you would like to attend these two sessions. \n\nIndicative Timetable\nPlease note that the timetable below is indicative and may be subject to change.
