Is this for me?\nAbsolutely. Many women join their first circle feeling a little unsure. There is no expectation to know what to do or how to participate. You’re welcome to simply arrive as you are\, listen\, reflect\, and join in at your own pace. \n\nDo I have to share personal experiences?\nNo. Sharing is always an invitation\, never an expectation. You are welcome to contribute as much or as little as feels comfortable. Listening is just as valued as speaking. \n\nI’m not very creative. Will I enjoy the weaving?\nYes. The weaving is not about creating something perfect—it’s a mindful\, hands-on practice that encourages slowing down\, reflection and presence. No previous weaving or artistic experience is needed\, and all materials and guidance are provided. \n\nIs this suitable if I’m experiencing perimenopause or menopause?\nYes. These circles are designed for women navigating the changing season of midlife\, including the physical\, emotional and personal changes that can accompany perimenopause and menopause. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed\, questioning your identity\, or simply looking for connection\, you’ll be warmly welcomed. \n\nWhat should I bring?\nJust yourself and anything that will help you feel comfortable. You may like to bring a journal and a water bottle. All weaving materials are provided. \n\nHow many women will be in the group?\nThe circles are intentionally kept to a comfortable size to allow everyone to feel seen\, heard and supported while creating a sense of connection and community. \n\nCan I come on my own?\nAbsolutely. Many women attend on their own\, and the circles are designed to be welcoming and inclusive. You’ll be joining a community of women who are navigating similar life experiences. \n\nDo I need to attend every month?\nEach circle stands on its own\, so you’re welcome to attend one or join us regularly. She also holds a university background in Psychology\, specialising in Clinical Psychology\, trauma and compassion. \nSince joining the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) in 2021\, Ravi has served as the Outreach Manager\, supporting the global Kundalini Yoga community. Ravi will guide you through each part of the practice\, and you’re encouraged to participate in a way that feels comfortable for your body and experience. \n\nWhat should I expect during the workshop?\nThe workshop includes Kundalini Yoga\, breathwork\, meditation and a restorative Gong Sound Bath. Together\, these practices are designed to support nervous system regulation\, relaxation and greater self-awareness. There will also be time to rest and integrate your experience. \n\nWhat should I bring?\nPlease wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. You may also like to bring a water bottle and anything else that helps you feel comfortable during relaxation. Yoga mats and props are available at Kundalini House. \n\nWhat is a Gong Sound Bath?\nA Gong Sound Bath is a deeply restorative relaxation practice where participants rest comfortably while listening to the resonant sounds and vibrations of the gong. Many people find it supports deep relaxation and provides an opportunity to integrate the benefits of their yoga and meditation practice. \n\nIs this workshop suitable if I’m experiencing stress or burnout?\nMany people attend Kundalini Yoga workshops to support their overall wellbeing and create space for rest\, reflection and nervous system regulation. If you have specific health concerns\, injuries or medical conditions\, we encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider and let Ravi know before the workshop so appropriate modifications can be offered where possible. \n\nCan I attend if I have an injury or limited mobility?\nIn many cases\, yes. We will do our best to support your participation with appropriate modifications where possible. \n\nWhat if I’ve never meditated before?\nNo prior meditation experience is needed.
