Event Description

In today’s fast-paced world, many of us spend significant periods of time in states of stress, overwhelm, and nervous system activation. This nourishing 3-hour workshop offers an opportunity to slow down, restore balance, and explore practical approaches to supporting nervous system health.

Drawing from Yin Yoga, Polyvagal Theory, somatic practices, and relaxation techniques, this workshop combines education with embodied experience to help participants better understand how the nervous system influences mood, behaviour, stress responses, and overall wellbeing.

Together, we will explore gentle vagal toning practices designed to support activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, often referred to as the “rest and digest” response. These simple yet effective techniques can help cultivate greater feelings of calm, safety, and connection.

Participants will then be guided through a comprehensive Yin Yoga practice that works deeply with the fascia and connective tissues of the body. Through long-held, supported postures, we create space for the body to soften, release accumulated tension, and unwind patterns of physical and emotional holding.

The afternoon will conclude with deep relaxation and gong immersion, offering an opportunity to integrate the practices, settle the nervous system, and rest deeply.

Your nervous system will thank you for it.
