Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare, which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Osteopaths use their in-depth knowledge of anatomy to focus on how the joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function together as a holistic unit.

Using skilled evaluation, diagnosis and a wide range of gentle hands-on techniques, osteopaths can identify and address areas of sub-optimal function to encourage the body towards greater health. Osteopathic treatment uses techniques such as stretching and myofascial release for treatment of the soft tissues (muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments) along with mobilisation of specific joints to improve range of movement.
