Flow of the Five Elements with Joanna Nation
Saturday 21st of March @ 4:00-5:30pm
In this 90-minute journey we’ll flow through all Five Elements according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, using gentle Qi Gong exercises to explore the energetic qualities of each element and associated organ/ emotion.
From the clear releasing energy of Metal, to the fluid resilience of Water, the expansive growth of Wood, the radiant warmth of Fire, to the grounding strength of Earth.
The workshop concludes with a restorative guided relaxation to integrate the experience, leaving you balanced, centred and recharged.
________
Each element carries distinct energetic qualities and is associated with specific organs, emotions, and patterns of movement. Through slow, mindful Qi Gong sequences, we’ll explore:
-
Metal — clarity, breath, and the art of letting go
-
Water — fluidity, resilience, and deep reserves of energy
-
Wood — growth, vision, and adaptive strength
-
Fire — warmth, connection, and joyful expression
-
Earth — grounding, stability, and nourishment
The practices are accessible and invitational, allowing you to listen to your body and move at a pace that feels supportive. Throughout the workshop, Joanna will weave in simple reflections from Chinese Medicine to help you understand how these elemental qualities may be showing up in your own health, energy, and emotional landscape.
Suitable for all levels. No prior Qi Gong experience necessary.
