Flow of the Five Elements with Joanna Nation
Saturday 3rd of January @ 4:00-5:30pm
In this nourishing 90-minute workshop, you’re invited into a guided journey through the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine—Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth—using gentle, flowing Qi Gong practices to support balance, vitality, and inner harmony.
Each element carries distinct energetic qualities and is associated with specific organs, emotions, and patterns of movement. Through slow, mindful Qi Gong sequences, we’ll explore:
-
Metal — clarity, breath, and the art of letting go
-
Water — fluidity, resilience, and deep reserves of energy
-
Wood — growth, vision, and adaptive strength
-
Fire — warmth, connection, and joyful expression
-
Earth — grounding, stability, and nourishment
The practices are accessible and invitational, allowing you to listen to your body and move at a pace that feels supportive. Throughout the workshop, Joanna will weave in simple reflections from Chinese Medicine to help you understand how these elemental qualities may be showing up in your own health, energy, and emotional landscape.
We’ll conclude with a restorative guided relaxation, offering space for integration and nervous system settling, so the benefits of the practice can be absorbed deeply.
You’ll leave feeling balanced, centred, and recharged—with practical tools you can return to in daily life to support wellbeing through the changing seasons.
Suitable for all levels. No prior Qi Gong experience necessary.
