Life Now Hatha Yoga with Belinda Bailey
Tuesdays 6:30-4:45pm Course
About Belinda's classes:
These classes work on strengthening the body and increasing flexibility. The postures are at times strong and challenging but alternative poses are always offered for those who are injured, older or have had a taxing week!
Belinda believes that the physical benefits of yoga are great and valuable and when coupled with the deeper practice of this ancient art, create an overall sense of self and wellbeing. By applying yogic philosophy and by learning not to push, to be present and aware regardless of the awkwardness, the inner conflict is healed and a sense of true peace can be found in a lasting way that can be taken from the mat into your everyday life.
Belinda has been teaching yoga since 2001. Her inspiration to teach yoga started as a desire to help create space in peoples lives in which they can explore peace and access their authentic self, whilst keeping their body and mind active and healthy.

Mondays at 12:15-12:55pm Casual
Wednesdays at 5:45 - 7:00pm Casual
Thursdays at 7:45 - 9:00pm (Hatha/Vinyasa) Casual
Erika comes from the Hatha, Vinyasa, Power Flow and Ashtanga Yoga Traditions (500hrs YTT). These classes incorporate vinyasa (flowing movement with the breath) as well as static postures, pranayama, concentration and meditation. These classes are suitable for beginner’s right through to advanced students as variations and modifications of the postures are offered. Erika guides and prompts her students to cultivate mind body awareness throughout the practice.
Erika is particularly drawn to yogic philosophy and touches on patanjalis 8 limbs of yoga throughout her classes. She feels it is an enormous opportunity to be able to offer students the chance to develop new attitudes towards their practice on and off the mat. She encourages students to apply svadhyaya (self study) in their practice so that they can gain their own experience with the form of yoga being practiced.
Erika feels it is important to inform her students of the physiological benefits that they are achieving throughout their practice.
Erika is a menber of Yoga Australia.
