20 years

Join us for a vibrant weekend celebration honouring 20 years of Kundalini Yoga at Kundalini House — a gathering of practice, community, music, meditation, reflection and connection.

Across the weekend, current Kundalini House teachers, past teachers and special guest teachers will come together to share the many elements of Kundalini Yoga and the community that has grown around it. There will be opportunities to practise, meditate, chant, listen, rest, reconnect and simply enjoy being together.

The weekend will include a rich program of Kundalini Yoga sessions, mini workshops, meditation, mantra, kirtan, Aquarian Sadhana, gong relaxation, chai and chat, community gathering time, shared food, stalls, wares and a community marketplace.

Some sessions will invite you into deep practice, while others will offer space to socialise, reflect on our shared history, and celebrate the people who have helped shape Kundalini House over the past two decades.

You are welcome to immerse yourself in the whole weekend, come for one day, or choose individual sessions that call to you. Full weekend passes, day passes and session passes are available, making it easy to participate in the way that suits your energy, availability and connection to the practice.

Whether you have been part of Kundalini House for many years, are a current student, a past teacher, a practitioner, a friend of the community, or are simply curious about Kundalini Yoga, this weekend is an invitation to come together — to honour the past, celebrate the present, and strengthen the living community of Kundalini Yoga in Melbourne.

Lotus of the Heart: Long Meditation

2:30pm – 4:15pm

Join Billie Atherstone for a 1 hour 45 minute Kundalini Yoga and meditation journey, beginning with gentle movement and preparation to help the body settle, open and become ready for a longer meditation practice.

Kundalini Yoga is the power of meditation. As a Raj Yoga, Kundalini Yoga offers direct and effective practices to steady the mind, awaken inner awareness and connect us with the vastness of who we are. In this session, we will come together to experience the strength, stillness and upliftment that can arise through shared practice.

At the heart of the session will be a beautiful 66-minute meditation for the heart and radiant body, offering space to soften inward, steady the mind and experience the depth that can emerge through sustained practice in community.

If you’re newer to meditation, you are very welcome. There is no pressure to hold the practice perfectly or continuously — you can pause, rest, come in and out as you need. Simply being present within the shared field of the group can be a meaningful part of the experience.

This spacious practice will lead beautifully into the final Gong Bath of the Kundalini Yoga Mini Fest, allowing the meditation to settle more deeply through rest, sound and integration.

Tickets: $35, or included with an all-day/weekend pass.
