MY NAME IS NOT ANXIOUS

From Surviving to Thriving

An 8-Week Anxiety & Nervous System Regulation Course in Melbourne with Avril Bastiansz

An integrative course combining yoga, psychotherapy, and nervous system education to support a more balanced and compassionate relationship with anxiety, and a deeper connection to your essential nature.

This small-group course offers practical tools, guided practices, and supportive inquiry to help you feel more grounded, regulated, and connected in daily life.

ABOUT THE COURSE

Anxiety is often experienced as overwhelming, confusing, and deeply personal.

This course offers a grounded and supportive approach to understanding and working with anxiety.

Rather than trying to eliminate anxiety, we learn to:

  • understand what is happening in the body and mind
  • recognise patterns of thought and emotional response
  • respond in a more steady and supportive way

Drawing from both Western psychology and yogic wisdom, this course works across the different layers of our experience — body, breath, mind, and awareness.

Through a combination of:

  • gentle movement and somatic practices
  • breathwork and nervous system regulation
  • psychoeducation and reflective inquiry
  • guided awareness and meditation

you will begin to develop a more integrated and steady relationship with anxiety.
