Kundalini Running with Doug Wilson

About Doug and the workshop

Join us for an inspiring & motivational workshop with Doug Wilson.

At the age of 31, Doug was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumour. After undergoing a 14-hour operation, and suffering extensive cranial nerve damage, he battled surgically induced meningitis, had to learn to walk again and faces life-long complications, including single-sided deafness, permanent balance issues and facial paralysis.

The story of how he overcame these challenges using diet, kundalini yoga and meditation is truly remarkable. Just over 12 months after his surgery, Doug set a Guinness World Record by becoming the first person to run 7 competitive marathons on 7 continents in under 7 days. He has since gone on to run at an elite level and now teaches how yoga & meditation play a key part in self-transformation and optimising human potential.

This 2.5 hour session is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. We will look into the the mechanics of our anatomy by opening the joints, altering the body’s chemicals and adjusting the glandular system.

Each participant will gain an insight to the fundamentals and benefits of kundalini yoga as a genuine form of therapy for restoring balance in body, mind and spirit as we work toward a specific physical and mental outcome.

Our session ends in a deep relaxation and group healing.

The workshop price of $50 includes a signed copy of Doug’s new book Kundalini Running.
