Kundalini House at the International Domestic Violence and Health Conference

held in Melbourne

On November 20th and 21st Kundalini House was fortunate to partner up with the International Domestic Violence and Health Conference to provide support to participants, presenters and attendees at the conference. We were offering the Wellbeing Program, which included yoga, massage, singing bowls and choir/sound sessions. It is quite unusual to have a wellbeing program at a conference like this and it was so well received. We feel blessed to have been able to provide the program at such a significant and valuable conference, attended by wonderful people.

Domestic violence and its effect on people, families and communities is an often discussed topic in the media and has become even more present in the recent past. The ABC published an article called ‘How to spot an abusive relationship – and help a friend who’s in one’, which we highly recommend to read. Please make sure that you look after yourself and if reading this or the linked article has raised concerns, please contact your mental health practitioner or lifeline on 13 11 14.

With warmth,

The Kundalini House team
